I’m currently travelling 22 kms one way which makes it approximately a 50 kms each day to the office. However i am grateful that my office is not in the same route as the most of the other offices which would take around 3 hrs to travel the same distance. Everyday when i travel i see hundreds of cars, of almost all types,Ford, Maruthi, BMW etc; zooming past me at a speed which would put quite many of the lousy slow drivers to shame. HOwever there is one similarity between all the drivers irrespective of whether they are slow or fast; whether they are driving a BMW or some old junk metal with 4 wheels or the infamous three wheeler(autos).
EVERYBODY HONK!! Honk like crazy!!
And they do that as if its one of their squeezes.
You are standin in a traffic signal waiting for it to turn green and the moment the signal is green they honk..Hello ppl..Its not as if anyone would actually WANT to be stuck over there..Come on for god’s sake..Stop the damn noise..
I’m sure most of the ppl wouldve face the same situation daily. And today morning it was the same routine where ppl were honking..but today it turned out that on the recieving end was a person who was driving the car with a big ‘L’ board on it(lets call him L-guy) and it was one of his driving classes from a driving school.
The honking continued for about 15 seconds continously and finally the L-guy rounded up his wits and was able to pull away his car from the path of the honk guy.
Naturally its frustrating that this foolish honk guy dint even realize that the L-guy was a person who was learning the car and instead of having a tiny bit of patience started intimidating him by honking.
But if you are a pessimist and most importantly not at the recieving end of the honk(as i was right then), there is another side to it which you could appreciate.
Its because of asses like these honk guys out there that ppl learn driving much better than they would without these guys. Kinda like a blessing in disguise !!
If everything were perfect then driving would also just be suited to “perfect” conditions only.
Many guys who are used to driving in the US when they come down to India opt out from driving. And the reason is that they’re not used to such haphazard traffic.
However if an Indian who knows to drive well here will pretty much be able to drive seamlessly anywhere else.
So maybe we should thank these asses because of whom we learn to drive well then intended.
Thanks to all the asses out there..Keep honking !! 😉
This is forced training! What if I don’t want to learn the “honking” way?? And about “Indian who knows to drive well here will pretty much be able to drive seamlessly anywhere else” ….. it will be trouble if the Indian keeps honking everywhere else!
lo kuyybeda guru :p
